Fashion Write for Us — Submit a Fashion Guest Post
Most “write for us” pages are a dead inbox with a 900-word minimum nobody reads. Ours isn’t. If you know fashion — not just that hemlines move, but why a capsule wardrobe outperforms a 200-piece closet — we want your pitch. We publish contributors who bring a real point of view, and we reply to every serious submission within 5 business days. Here’s exactly what we accept, what gets rejected on sight, and how to get your byline live on [YourSite].

Who We’re Looking For {#who-were-looking-for}
We’re a fashion and style publication read by people who actually shop, style, and care about how clothing fits into a real life — not just runway spectators. That shapes who we publish.
You’re a strong fit if you’re one of these:
- A working stylist, designer, or tailor who can explain the mechanics of fit, fabric, and construction — the stuff generic bloggers get wrong.
- A fashion writer or journalist with clips and a distinct voice.
- A boutique owner, buyer, or e-commerce operator who can write from behind the counter, not from a press release.
- A sustainability or textile specialist who can go past “fast fashion is bad” into materials, supply chains, and care.
- A niche enthusiast — vintage, streetwear, modest fashion, plus-size styling, menswear tailoring — with genuine depth in one lane.
The one requirement that beats every credential: you write like a human with a point of view. We’d rather publish a sharp, opinionated 1,200-word piece from a first-time writer than a hedge-everything 2,000-word article from a content mill.
Topics & Categories We Accept {#topics-we-accept}

We publish across the full style spectrum, but every piece has to earn its place with specifics. Below are the categories we’re actively commissioning, with the angle we want — not just the topic.
- Style guides & how-tos — capsule wardrobes, body-type dressing, colour theory, wardrobe building on a budget. Give steps and examples, not vibes.
- Sustainable & slow fashion — fabric guides, secondhand and resale, brand transparency, garment care that extends lifespan.
- Menswear & tailoring — fit fundamentals, suiting, smart-casual, grooming that connects to wardrobe.
- Streetwear & culture — drops, collabs, sneaker culture, subculture history (with actual research).
- Beauty & grooming — skincare-meets-style, seasonal routines, product breakdowns with honest verdicts.
- Accessories & footwear — bags, watches, jewellery, shoe care and selection.
- Trends & analysis — where a trend came from, who it’s for, and whether it’s worth your money.
- Shopping & value — smart buying, cost-per-wear math, quality checks, dupes worth it vs. not.
If your idea doesn’t slot neatly into one of these, pitch it anyway with a one-line reason it fits our reader. We’d rather see an original angle than another “10 summer outfit ideas” listicle.
Guest Post Guidelines (Read Before Pitching) {#guidelines}

These aren’t suggestions. Submissions that miss the basics get rejected without a read, because it’s the fastest signal that the rest won’t be worth editing.
Length & depth
- Minimum 1,000 words. Sweet spot is 1,200–1,800. Write to completeness, then stop — we don’t reward padding.
- Cover the topic fully enough that the reader doesn’t need to Google again after your piece.
Originality
- 100% original and unpublished. We run every draft through a plagiarism and AI-detection check. Spun, republished, or thin AI-generated content is an instant no and a permanent blacklist.
- No content that’s live anywhere else, including your own blog or Medium.
Formatting
- Use clear H2 and H3 subheadings, short paragraphs (2–4 sentences), and bullet lists.
- Include a 1–2 sentence author bio with one link (your site or a single social profile).
- Add a suggested title and meta description — it speeds up publishing.
Links
- We allow one dofollow link to a relevant, non-spammy site inside the body, plus your bio link.
- Links must fit the content naturally. No casino, adult, CBD, payday-loan, or unrelated commercial links — these are auto-rejected.
- No affiliate links or tracking parameters.
Images
- Submit at least one relevant image (1200px+ wide) that you own or that is properly licensed (royalty-free with credit is fine).
- Include the source and license for every image. We won’t publish unsourced images — copyright is our risk, not yours.
Voice
- Write in a conversational, expert tone. First-hand experience (“when I fit clients…”, “in our shop we found…”) always beats generic advice.
What We Don’t Accept {#what-we-dont-accept}
Saving you (and us) time — these get declined every time:
- Thin or generic listicles with no original insight (“15 fashion tips everyone should know”).
- Promotional pieces disguised as articles — if it reads like a brand brochure, it’s an ad, and ads go through a different (paid) door.
- AI-written filler with perfect grammar and zero point of view.
- Republished or lightly-spun content from elsewhere.
- Off-topic links or pieces written purely to place a link.
- Unsourced claims or stats — cite where numbers come from.
- Content that needs a full rewrite — we edit for polish, not to salvage a weak draft.
How to Submit Your Guest Post {#how-to-submit}
We keep the process short so good writers don’t bounce. Two paths:
Option A — Pitch first (recommended)
- Email info@homefixer.pk with the subject line: “Fashion Guest Post — [Your Topic]”.
- Include your working title, a 2–3 sentence angle, and 1–2 links to past writing (if you have them).
- Wait for a green light before writing the full draft — this avoids wasted effort on an angle we’ve just covered.
Option B — Send the full draft
- Attach your article as a Google Doc (comment access) or
.docx. - Include your author bio, image(s) with sources, and suggested meta.
- Send to info@homefixer.pk with the same subject line format.
What happens next: We reply to every serious submission within 5 business days. Accepted pieces are edited for clarity and SEO (we may tweak the headline and add internal links), then scheduled. You’ll get the live URL once it’s published.

Benefits of Writing for Us {#benefits}
You’re spending hours on a piece — here’s what you get back:
- A real audience. Your byline reaches readers who came for fashion, not a link farm’s ghost traffic.
- A dofollow backlink from a topically-relevant fashion site to your own project or portfolio.
- A permanent portfolio clip with your name and bio, useful for pitching bigger publications.
- Editorial support — we actually edit, so your piece ships polished.
- Social amplification — accepted posts get shared across our channels and, where it fits, our newsletter.
We don’t pay for contributed posts, and we’re upfront about that — the value is exposure, the link, and the clip. If you’re looking for paid freelance work, mention it in your email and we’ll tell you when paid briefs open up.

Frequently Asked Questions {#faq}
Do you accept guest posts for free? Yes — we publish quality fashion guest posts at no charge, as long as they meet our guidelines. We don’t pay for contributed posts, and we don’t charge you to publish an accepted, non-promotional article. Purely promotional or sponsored placements go through a separate paid process.
How long should my fashion guest post be? At least 1,000 words, with 1,200–1,800 being the ideal range. Depth matters more than hitting a number — cover the topic completely and stop.
Can I include a link to my website? Yes. You get one dofollow link inside the body (to a relevant, non-spammy page) plus one link in your author bio. Off-topic, affiliate, or spammy links are removed or the post is rejected.
How long until I hear back? We reply to every serious submission within 5 business days. If you haven’t heard back in a week, send one polite follow-up.
Will you edit my article? Yes. We edit for clarity, formatting, and SEO — including possible headline tweaks and added internal links — but we won’t rewrite a weak draft from scratch. Submit it close to publish-ready.
What topics have the best chance of getting accepted? Specific, experience-driven angles: real style guides, sustainable-fashion deep dives, menswear fit fundamentals, and honest trend analysis. Generic listicles and promotional pieces are the fastest rejections.
Ready to pitch? Email info@homefixer.pk with your topic and angle, or send a full draft through our contributor form. We’re reading.
